W. A. "Wink" Chappell Memorial Award Bill "Wink" Chappell grew up with and learned to train from some of the finest Vaqueros in the West during the 1920's and 30's. ARAB established this award to honor "Wink" who, in partnership with Lorry Wagner, established the first public training stables in this area in 1964.
